Welcome
Ellis Lake Resort is primarily known for its cute, cozy, authentic log cabin lodging built in 1939, which are all non-smoking units. All of the log cabins have fully-equipped kitchens. We also supply linens and towels. Our Logrooms are like a log cabin bedroom...small refrigerator & coffee maker, no kitchen. Some of the cabins feature Franklin woodstoves, and each has a private outdoor yard area with a picnic table, chairs, charcoal grill, and campfire pit.
We are located eleven miles South of Traverse City, two miles from Interlochen Arts Academy, eighteen miles from Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, and minutes from the wineries, bike trails and snowmobile trails.
We are open year round and we hope to offer a great relaxing getaway.
