Cancellations:

Weekly cancellations received 14 days or more prior to your arrival date will receive a full refund less a 10% cancellation charge  in addition to any costs of any packages or add-ons that may have been purchased.  Less than 14 day notice, no refunds on deposit,  cost of any packages or add-ons, but may be used another stay within one year of cancelled reservation, otherwise loss of deposit (packages or add-ons based upon availability).

Nightly or half-week cancellations received 14 days or more prior to your arrival date will receive a full refund less a $25 cancellation charge per unit reserved in addition to any costs of any packages or add-ons. Less than 14 day notice, no refunds on deposit, cost of any packages or add-ons, but may be used towards another stay within one year of cancelled reservation, otherwise loss of deposit (packages or add-ons based upon availability).

Ellis Lake Resort does not take any responsibility for changes to your reservations due to inclement weather, unforeseen changes to travel plans, personal sickness, injury or family emergencies.

No-shows will be charged the full price of the room rate.

There are no refunds for late arrivals or early departures.

If you made a reservation through a third-party website such as Booking.com, Expedia, AirBnB, etc you are bound to the cancellation policies agreed to when booking on their website. The cancellation policies on their website do differ from our standard cancellation policies. Any reservation made on a third-party website must be cancelled through the third-party website. By booking directly with Ellis Lake Resort via www.ellislakeresort.com or by phone, you are always better protected.

Smoking, Vaping and Medicinal/Recreational Smoking:
Ellis Lake Resort does not allow any type of smoking inside any of our buildings. Marijuana is not allowed on the property period. There are fire pits and metal butt buckets around the property where cigarette butts are to  be disposed of. Please do not throw butts on the ground.  Any violation of these policies will result in the need to find other accommodations immediately. Refunds will not be considered.
